About Me

A little about my experiences and life outside of design

Hi, I’m Ken! I design and conduct research with one mantra in mind: A design without the user’s need in mind is just a collection of shapes, text, and colors on a rectangle.

Why I Chose UX/UI Design

Throughout my life, I was always a UX/UI Designer without knowing that I was one. I would “survey” people about experiences, suggest changes, and ideate possible solutions based on their answers until we were both satisfied or until they were annoyed by the amount of questions I asked. (:

If these experiences had been created with user-centered research methods, these issues could have been avoided before getting to the end user. After realizing that I had a strong passion for solving these problems and realizing that I was a UX/UI Designer at heart, it was only natural that I turn my need to solve problems into a passion career.

Shun Dorsey - Beame

I had the pleasure of working with Kenneth and his team on our companies mobile app UX/ UI design project and it was nothing short of awesome. Above all, I was impressed with Kenneth's attention to detail and his out-of-the-box thinking, and, of course, his awesome personality. Kenneth would be a true asset for any position requiring UX or UI design skills and it's without hesitation that I give Kenneth my highest recommendations.

Cristianna Cambrice - General Assembly

Kenneth was a very ambitious student in the UX Design Immersive course at General Assembly. He was very excited to take on new tasks and learn new tools. For example, he learned Webflow and taught other students in the class how to use it. Or when he and the team tackled designing for a VR space and learned how to design for it. Kenneth's drive to learn and grow through ambiguity was a great experience to see and to be a part of. He is an excellent person to have your team and fun to be around. You will not regret having him on the team.
